About Me

Dani De La Rosa is a Chicago-based actor, actor combatant, and fight choreographer. She is a graduate of Columbia College Chicago, holding a B.A. in Acting with a minor in Stage Combat (May 2026).

Dani is a physical actor who brings a dynamic and energetic approach to her work. She is a member of the Society of American Fight Directors and is certified in all 8 weapons they offer: Unarmed, Rapier & Dagger, Two-Handed Sword, Knife, Small Sword, Sword & Shield, Quarterstaff, and Hollywood Single Sword. She is also a lifelong martial artist, holding a black belt in Okinawan Shorei Goju Ryu Karate, and also trains Muay Thai and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.

When not onstage or in front of the camera, Dani also dabbles in screen and playwriting, and she also works as a fight choreographer and director. She works in the comedic and the dramatic, and loves to bring her real-life martial arts training and fight logic to the stage and screen to create memorable fights that leave a mark (pun intended).
